Hello to all our Itch.io fans and possible supporters!

We have some bad news to share as the title suggests, Patreon has decided to flat out purge a ton of ab/dl creators from their platform in the past 2 days. Messy Academy's Patreon and main source of funding for our project was hit as well. If you're on Twitter or in other circles, you might be aware of what is going on within the ab/dl community for artists, writers, content creators in general are going through a rough time with being booted off of Patreon after years of work without issues.

Messy Academy still has plans to deliver v0.20 for our public fans during December, but please bear with us during this transition period and trying to sort things out. We have a split priority, which is to deliver what content we had planned to finish up and now trying to redirect our fans and possible supporters to our new platforms.

Our main two platforms moving forward will be Subscribestar & Pixiv Fanbox. Ideally, we'd prefer support over at Subscribestar, but right now we're in the process of waiting for our page to be reviewed and approved before support is allowed there. Our Pixiv Fanbox page however, is open and can be used if you prefer that as a option.

If you were supporting us on Patreon or simply wish to support our on-going project, please consider joining either of those options. Our game development relies heavily on what we brought in through Patreon on a monthly basis and without it, we can't pay the few people on our team to provide their skills towards the project.

We're going to try our best to work through this awkward rebuilding period, but please understand that the support means a lot to our team at this time forward. Just like how we handled posts on Patreon, we'll be offering supporters exclusive news updates, art previews, concept art, behind the scenes, supporter only versions of the game and much more! All for the low cost of $5 to access this content on a monthly basis. <3

There are higher support tiers with other benefits, so choose what works best for you. 

We'll keep everyone informed of our plans with releasing content in December and update how we're handling things as we work through this. Most importantly, we have no intention to stop development, just understand that without our funding. It could prevent us from proceeding at times, but we're 4 years into development with a ton of work done into the game. We have 2 years expected still before we finish completely with Messy Academy's base game and move onto dlc content and future plans for other projects, but we do not want to give up all that hard work despite our situation.
